Our efforts have received accolades encomium from various quarters. We have been accorded special consultative status with Economic and Social Council of United Nations (ECOSOC). Navjyoti has been registered with Credibility Alliance and Impact Connect, an opportunity to reach youth at larger level. NIF has also won the Delhi State Award for Child Welfare for the year 1998. The Serge Sotiroff memorial Award of the United Nations Drug Control Programme (UNDP) for outstanding contribution in the field of international drug control has encouraged us to march on ahead. The founder General Secretary Dr. Kiran Bedi has been awarded the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award equivalent to the Asian Nobel Prize, for Government service, which constantly inspires us to work harder.
