Youngest teacher of Navjyoti Bal (Child) Gurukul movement – Anjani is a six year old girl who teaches five children. Her father, Deep Narayan, is a laborer in a factory while her mother, Kanchan Devi, is a tailor in Bawana resettlement colony, located in North-west Delhi.  Navjyoti Remedial Education Program provides art and craft, music, library and sports classes to all children helping them discover their inner talent. Anjani grew from within to be a smiling and confident child as she was given the opportunity to be the monitor of the class. Navjyoti Bal (Child) Gurukul became the new light in her life which is a seed sown to grow her leadership skills. She is teaching give children and also holds a drawing class. Anjani participated in the inter school competition held at the M.M. Public School, Pitampura. These exposures and efforts in the right direction has helped her blossom and enjoy her childhood. Kusum, her teacher says, she is very sincere and responsible student herself. Her parents want her to study well and more in Navjyoti. And in Anjani’s words as a Gurukul teacher, “My students love me and I love them too.”

This is the power of a good education model which Navjyoti is gifting to the thousands.
