Introduction
Navjyoti India Foundation, an esteemed non-profit organization established in 1987, has dedicated itself to serving the marginalized segments of society, empowering them to lead lives of dignity and quality. Formally registered in 1988 by the esteemed Dr. Kiran Bedi, first woman IPS officer and recipient of Magsaysay Award, along with 15 other like-minded officials, our primary objective is to prevent crime through social development.
Our vision extends beyond addressing socio-economic inequalities, aiming to enable vulnerable communities to become self-reliant. We strive to mobilize and empower children, youth, women, and communities, encouraging them to combat illiteracy, ignorance, and gender discrimination.
By developing tailored solutions, we effectively respond to the specific needs of our community, continuously adapting to meet their ever-changing demands. With a bottom-up approach of inclusive and sustainable development, we run interventions in Child Education, Skill Upgradation, Community Development, Women Empowerment and the Environment.

Navjyoti India Foundation works towards ensuring that every program, intervention and idea that is implemented works towards ensuring that our beneficiaries and the communities at large are able to sustain their own livelihoods in the long run. We ensure that we support them in becoming independent, so that they can break through socio-economic barriers and provide a better life for themselves, their families and the community at large.
Our Mission
To mobilise and harness the power of children, youth and women at large to combat illiteracy, ignorance, gender discrimination and the evil of drug addiction with an ultimate aim of crime prevention and socio-inclusive development.

At Navjyoti India Foundation, we are dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations in 2015.
