Introduction

The 95-hour Computer Advanced Course under Project TechConnect empowers participants with advanced computer and digital productivity skills. The program begins with MS Word, covering document creation, editing, formatting, and advanced functions like references, mail merge, and review tools, along with typing practice. The spreadsheets module delves into MS Excel, focusing on data entry, formatting, formulas, charts, pivot tables, and financial document creation such as bills and balance sheets.

Participants also learn to navigate MS PowerPoint for creating engaging presentations using transitions and animations. The course concludes with modules on Outlook, Internet, and Email, teaching internet basics, effective email communication, adding signatures and themes, managing attachments, calendar features, and creating Google Forms. This course is designed to prepare learners for proficient use of computer applications in professional environments.

Placement Support Details

To enhance employability after course completion, students receive career counseling, training, internships, and expert-led sessions totaling 30 hours. Additionally, an industry exposure visit is organized to familiarize students with workplace culture and equip them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in a professional environment.

Certification Details

We offer two types of certifications under this course: Dell Certification and Participation Certification.

Dell Certification


To receive a Dell Certification, students must pass a final exam. On passing, a hard copy certificate will be issued and will include the student's name, course completed, location where the course was taken, course duration, and the final grade achieved.

Students who either do not take the final exam or do not pass but maintain at least 40% attendance will be awarded a Participation Certification.

Participation Certification


A hard copy certificate will be issued and will include the student's name, guardian's name, enrolment number, course participated in, and course duration.
