Dr. Kiran Bedi - Founder and Mentor, Navjyoti India Foundation

A passion for creating change at the grassroots prompted Dr. Kiran Bedi, first woman IPS officer and recipient of the Magsaysay Award to establish Navjyoti India Foundation in 1987. Along with 15 like-minded police officials, she established the organization with a vision towards socioeconomic change by making individuals self-reliant.
