Skill Development Program

Program

Why it Matters

India, with over 65% of its population under the age of 35, boasts one of the world’s largest emerging workforces. Despite this demographic advantage, unemployment remains a pressing issue, particularly among youth in low-income communities. A major factor contributing to this challenge is the skill gap—the disparity between the knowledge and skills accessible to young people from marginalized backgrounds and the demands of today’s job market.

The History

Since its inception, Navjyoti India Foundation has remained steadfast in its mission to empower underserved communities through impactful vocational training initiatives. A significant milestone was achieved in 2010 when IGNOU recognized us as a Community College, marking the formal establishment of Navjyoti Community College.

Since then, through collaborations with esteemed organizations such as NIIT Foundation, Yamaha, Singer India Pvt. Ltd., ST Foundation, and Dell Technologies, we have offered a diverse portfolio of certificate courses in IT, Tally Prime, Automobile Repair, Retail Management, Stitching & Tailoring, Beauty Culture, and more.
