Navjyoti’s Stationary Drive

NAVJYOTI’S STATIONARY DRIVE

Empowering children one item at a time

Thank you for your interest in supporting Navjyoti India Foundation’s stationary drive! Your commitment is instrumental in advancing our Child Education project, which presently serves more than 9000 children every day.

What is our stationary drive for?

Navjyoti India Foundation’s Stationary Drive is dedicated to gathering teaching and learning materials for our Child Education project. This initiative aims to prevent vulnerable children from discontinuing their education in mainstream schools by reinforcing fundamental concepts. In addition to enhancing academic skills, our project focuses on fostering the holistic development of children. This is achieved through a diverse array of classes and activities, including nutritional support, art and craft, music, value education sessions, and various exposures.

Expanding on our commitment to child education, Navjyoti India Foundation has introduced the Bal Gurukul program. Designed to cultivate student leaders, known as “Bal Gurus,” this program empowers them to educate younger vulnerable children in their community. This approach not only imparts transformative, value-based education and skills to those with limited access but also ensures that sustained community development is spearheaded by these emerging child leaders, promoting self-reliance.

Why is your support crucial?

Your support plays a pivotal role in providing essential materials for every child to learn and receive an education, enabling them to become self-reliant. All materials donated under the Stationary Drive will directly benefit classrooms and children in need, ensuring that your contribution empowers a child to learn and, subsequently, stay in school. Together, let’s make a lasting impact on the lives of these children and contribute to a brighter, more educated future.

Voices From the Frontline: Bal Gurukul

Meet Anand

A proud member of the Bawana community, a dedicated Navjyoti Alumni, and the passionate facilitator of our Bal Gurukul program. Anand’s deep understanding of the community and unwavering commitment to the cause have been instrumental in nurturing this program into the success it is today.

Meet Sana

Our youngest Bal Guru at just 10 years old. Despite her tender age, Sana takes on the role of a teacher, imparting knowledge in various subjects to a group of 12 children younger than herself. Her belief in the inherent power of every individual to make a positive impact in the lives of others through dedicated efforts shines through her inspiring contributions to the Bal Gurukul program.
